What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in starts at 3 PM (Local time). Check-out is at 12 PM (Local time).
Can I request an early check-in?
Yes. Early check-in may be requested and will be accommodated if available.
Do you allow pets?
Although AVA Resort Cancun is not classified as a pet-friendly resort, guests traveling with assistance and service dogs/animals are welcome. Please contact our Guest Experience team at guestservice1@avacancun.com for more information.
Do you place a hold for a security deposit on my credit card at check-in?
Yes. We hold a 100 USD security deposit per night on the credit card provided at check-in for incidental charges. The hold will be released at check-out, provided no charges were billed back to the room.
Do you offer Wi-Fi?
Yes. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi for all hotel guests.
Do you allow smoking in hotel rooms?
We assure you that the safety and well-being of all guests, team members, and associates are paramount at AVA Resort Cancun. In compliance with the general law for tobacco control in Mexico, smoking in guestrooms and public areas is strictly prohibited. However, we have displayed signage in designated smoking areas throughout the property for guests to use should they need to.
Do I need to be a hotel guest to use the hotel pools?
The pool and garden area is available only to registered hotel guests.

Is it safe to provide my credit card number when making a reservation?
Yes, all information submitted on our website is stored on our server through a safe and encrypted connection. This means that it cannot be accessed via the Internet and that no one can intercept the information being sent.
Do I have to pay the total amount on my reservation?
Depending on the promotion, we have several ways to guarantee the reservation. A deposit will be charged to the credit card provided. The remaining balance is due upon arrival. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.
Can the hotel give me my bill if I book through an intermediary?
No, AVA Resort Cancun should bill the intermediary. We suggest you ask for your bill directly where you made your reservation.
I'm trying to make a reservation, but a message appears saying that the number of people I'd like to accommodate cannot be accommodated in any of the available rooms. What does this mean?
You have probably exceeded the maximum occupancy in the room category. We recommend you add one more room or contact us directly at livechat@rcdhotels.com
Is a charge made to my credit card when the reservation is confirmed?
The charge is automatic when your reservation is confirmed. Please verify the amount charged in your confirmation letter.
When making a reservation, I am asked for personal information. How will it be used?
The information you give us will only be used to guarantee and register your reservation or to contact you if something unexpected comes up. If you choose to receive our newsletter, we will use your information to email you periodically with promotions, news, and updates about our hotel. Should you wish to do so, you may unsubscribe from our newsletter anytime.
What is the maximum number of rooms I can book?
Nine rooms.
Do you offer shuttle or transportation services?
Yes. We work with Corporate Coaches to accommodate transportation needs. Please contact the Vacation Makers for assistance at vacationmakers@avacancun.com. Taxis are also on-site 24/7 at the Valet entrance.

We would like to remind you AVA Resort Cancun only accepts card payments when making a reservation through our call center or website. We will never request a deposit or a direct transfer to a bank account, and you will never be contacted by us via SMS or WhatsApp. Please take precautions at the time of booking and ensure all transactions are made through our official channels to keep your personal information secure.

Once your reservation number is displayed on your screen and emailed to you, you may rest assured that your reservation has been registered in our system. Please keep your reservation information for personal control.
Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?
Once your confirmation is displayed on your screen, you will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address you provided within 5 minutes. It will include cancellation policies.
