Chef Mitsunori Ichikawa

Mexico City-born Chef Mitsunori Ichikawa takes inspiration from his Japanese roots to develop his extensive menus of traditional Japanese cooking. Chef Mitsunori’s grandparents immigrated from Japan after World War II and settled in Mexico City, passing along their most important culinary lessons from the Chef’s obachan, or maternal grandmother, Yaeko Kimura, known to all in Azcapotzalco as Doña Mary.

Chef Itsunori brings more than 30 years of expertise and experience in Japanese culinary arts, and is recognized among the most outstanding chefs of Asian gastronomy in Mexico.
