Chef Ricardo de la Vega

Born in Mexico City, Chef Ricardo de la Vega began his culinary career as a kitchen assistant in several of the city’s prominent restaurants, where he discovered his enduring love for the culinary arts. He went on to gain deep experience and expertise across the country in Puebla, Oaxaca, Yucatan and Quintana Roo. 

Chef Ricardo is dedicated to sharing Mexico’s local ingredients and wide range of regional techniques with fellow Mexican and global travelers alike. Above all, Chef Ricardo is committed to providing his guests with an unforgettable experience that echoes the traditions of the region with fresh, innovative approaches. In 2011, he was awarded first place in La Best du Or competition at “Flavors of Mexico in London,” hosted by La Toque Blanche.
